FAQ

Straight answers.

What is BLINKY?

A fan-culture NFT collection on Robinhood Chain: 2,222 Blinkies that share one unchanging pair of eyes. Bodies, materials and outfits change from one Blinky to the next. Nothing is promised.

How does the whitelist work?

For 48 hours you can join: sign in with X, finish the social tasks and submit the wallet that holds $BLINKY. When the window closes we verify every entry, and the wallets that pass go on the allowlist for the mint on OpenSea.

What do I need to qualify?

An X account with at least 100 followers, the social tasks done, $10 or more of $BLINKY held for 8 hours or more, and one wallet address. All of it inside the 48-hour window.

Why does my X account need 100 followers?

It keeps bots and throwaway accounts out, so real people get the spots. We read your follower count when you sign in. If you are under 100, grow the account and sign in again while the window is open.

Is it $10 or a fixed number of tokens?

It is $10 or more, always. The token's price moves, so the number of tokens worth $10 moves with it: if the price falls, it takes more tokens, and if it rises, fewer. The whitelist page shows the amount for the current price. The verdict uses the price at the moment the window closes, so buy a little more than the minimum to stay above the line if the price dips.

What is the quote task, and do I have to use your text?

You quote our pinned post with a few words of your own, in any language. The site can suggest a line, but you can write your own, and we add our handle and the site link at the end if you leave them out so people can find the whitelist. After you post, paste the link to your post: we check that it is yours, that it quotes the pinned post and that you wrote it during the window. Your post has to be public.

Why hold for 8 hours?

Buying and dumping is how bots farm lists. Holding for 8 hours makes a farm cost real money and time. The last useful moment to buy is 8 hours before the window closes, and the whitelist page shows that time in your time zone. Buy earlier and you have room to spare.

Which wallet should I submit?

The wallet that holds $BLINKY. It is also the wallet that will be allowed to mint on OpenSea, so use one you control on Robinhood Chain (chain ID 4663).

Can I use my Fomo deposit address?

Maybe. We accept any valid EVM address and never check who holds the keys. But if that address cannot hold or move an NFT on Robinhood Chain, the Blinky is stuck there. Use a wallet you control.

What if I sell before the window closes?

Holdings are verified when the window closes, at that moment's price. If you no longer hold $10 or more worth of $BLINKY then, you are removed from the list.

Does connecting X give you access to my account?

No. We ask X for read-only access to your handle, account id, display name, public profile photo and follower count. We cannot post, follow or message on your behalf. Every post is one you send yourself from X.

Can I enter with more than one account or wallet?

One X account, one wallet, one spot on the list and one mint. Changing your wallet moves your spot, it does not add another. A wallet already used by another account is rejected, and suspicious entries are removed.

What if I typo my wallet?

You can change it until the window closes. After that the list is locked, and a Blinky can only be minted by the address on it.

When is the mint, and what does it cost?

The mint happens on OpenSea after verification. The date and the terms, such as price and per-wallet limit, are announced on this site and on X before it starts.

What if I miss the window?

The window is fixed. Entries cannot be added after it closes.

Are the previews the final art?

They are early samples from the collection. Traits and final art may change before the mint.

Is this official Fomo?

No. Fan project. Not made, endorsed or run by Fomo, Robinhood or OpenSea. Fomo is where the gate token is bought.
